DRIVEN TO ABSTRACTION- No Treatment Is Welcome
Artist Sally Gilmour seeks a sense of rightness, reaches for keys to produce
responses of delight, excitement or gratification. She has been teaching and practicing art for over 45 years. Sally has a no fear approach to making art and is not bound by rules. Her artwork is the result of a dialogue between chance and deliberateness. A “Meet the Artist” wine/cheese/jazz reception will be March 11, 6 to 8 pm. Admission is free.

Time and Place; A Retrospective Journey
Landscapes, People,and More by Helen M. Hickey and Terry Trambauer Norris. These works are interpretations of places encountered near and far, past and present, in a variety of media. Helen and Terry are personal friends, and share a similar artistic philosophy and a commitment to teaching the fundamental principles of visual art to their many students at Crealde School of Art in Winter Park. Both have served in past years at Crealde as Director of the Drawing and Painting Department, focusing on core curriculum and traditional skills. These skills and philosophies are reflected in works that span the decades and chronicle changing environments and experiences.
